Chris has also worked on a variety of economic development and public-private partnership projects. These projects have included the creation of tax increment financing areas, community reinvestment areas, enterprise zones, new community authority districts and joint economic development districts, all to encourage the investment of private capital in local communities and to stimulate economic development and redevelopment.
Chris has been named in The Best Lawyers in America each year since 2006 and was recognized as Lawyer of the Year for Public Finance Law – Columbus by The Best Lawyers in America several times, including 2025. He has also been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer, a distinction honoring the top lawyers in the state.
Chris is a past member of and secretary for the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Government Finance Officers Association, where he has served on the education, membership and sponsorship committees.
